Steps regarding EPF/ESI registration

Step 1:Register your business with the EPFO

Navigate to the EPFO's web portal and select the "establishment registration" option.

Step 2: Read the User Manual thoroughly.

After clicking "ESTABLISHMENT REGISTRATION," a new page will open, allowing you to download the "INSTRUCTION MANUAL." Before proceeding, ensure that you have thoroughly read the handbook.

Step 3: DSC Registration

Employers who have enrolled can access the platform using their account credentials. The instruction manual covers all necessary information regarding the employer's registration and the employer's DSC registration. It's worth noting that employers asking for ERF registration must be DSC registered.

Step 4: Completed the required Employer information

Following your reading of the instructions, check the box labelled "I have read the instruction booklet." Additionally, touch on the "REGISTER BUTTON," which will bring you to the page where you may enter the employer's information.

Step 5: Complete the required fields with accurate information.

Initials: In the form, enter the name as it was submitted to the Income Tax department. Alterations in this context increase the likelihood of the cancellation occurring during verification.

Employer identification number:As you enter the PAN details, a gateway will display a notification on your screen indicating your registration status. The PAN number is critical for the online application to be approved.

User Name:: The portal now allows you to choose a unique username from a list of numerous suggestions.

Hint Question/Answer:The system will now prompt you to select a question to provide an additional layer of protection to the account. This will assist you in regaining access to your account if you forget your login credentials. Then, proceed by completing the CAPTCHA verification process and tapping on the GET PIN button.

Cell phone PIN: At this point, the site will generate the PIN and transmit it to the mobile number associated with your account. Once you've received your PIN, click on the box labelled "I agree with the preceding declaration."

Email link activation: The portal will send an email with a link to your registered email address. Once you activate this link, the EPF registration application is automatically submitted to the portal.
