What is Annual Reports?

Companies are required to have an Annual General Meeting at the end of each fiscal year. Additionally, completing an annual return with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs is necessary to ensure compliance. According to the Companies Act, newly registered businesses (within 18 months of incorporation) must hold an annual general meeting. Additionally, another Annual General Meeting must be held within six months of the financial year's conclusion.

By Steps Additional Attachments to Form 23AC Procedure:

If Form 23AC exceeds 2.5 MB in size, delete some attachments or split and attach only a portion of the extension to keep the Form under 2.5 MB. You can upload the other branches/other bits separately using the 'Additional Attachment Sheet' below.

Enter the CIN and click the 'Prefill' button to have the Company's name and address automatically filled in the Form.

Input the date of the pertinent balance sheet.

Select the document type from the drop-down menu and click the 'Attach' button to 'look for and select the file to attach. You may attach up to five documents.

Complete the signatory information, including the signatory's designation and DIN/Membership number.

Affix the signatory's Digital Signature Certificate.

Select the 'Verify' button. If an error occurs, repair it and repeat this step.

Close the form and re-save it when the system prompts you. Please limit the size of the 'Additional Attachment Sheet' to 2.5 MB.

If you wish to add additional attachments, please download a new Form and follow the steps above. You may upload a maximum of two 'Additional Attachment Sheets' with each Form 23AC.

Following the upload of Form 23AC to the MCA site, the system will prompt you for the following options:

Submit Form 23ACA2. Additions to Form 23AC12

Select the second option and upload the 'Additional Attachment Sheet' that you already saved.

Following the upload of one 'Additional Attachment Sheet,' the system will prompt you to make another pick. If you wish to upload a second 'Additional Attachment Sheet,' pick the second option and upload the same. Alternatively, select the first option and upload Form 23ACA to complete the filing before proceeding to the 'payment option' screen.

If you have uploaded two 'Additional Attachment Sheets,' the system will invite you to finish the filing by uploading Form 23ACA and proceeding to the 'payment choice' screen.
